A few more, why not

I adore the gradual, slinky way these bald cypress trees fill in throughout spring.

Hostas under the Japanese maple

Left side of the patio: Julianae lilac tree, purple coneflowers, daisies, sundrops, irises, tomatoes, pepper

Poor pepper is less droopy with a nice drink of water.

Right side of the patio: black-eyed susans, butterfly bush, some type of ornamental grass, lilyturf

  1. suntzusays says:

In perspective a weed is something growing in the yard you don’t want growing there. So if it’s a favorite.. .is it still a weed?

  2. Nope! It’s just obvious that they weren’t placed by design – growing right up through the boxwood hedge. I’m keeping them, so…not weeds!
